A Warning to Jewish Women on Facebook !!!
This is Mike Roepke.
I am posting this here because this FRAUDSTER has had contact with a friend of mine. A Jewish lady who shall remain nameless for now. He is a Predator of Jewish women. He is NOT JEWISH and he is NOT converting to Judaism as he has said in many forums both within and without Facebok. He is pretending to be pro-Israel and has infiltrated several pages on Facebook looking for "help" to fulfill his "dream" of going to Israel. He is looking for MONEY and perhaps a Jewish lady to legitimise him.

He does not work for "Mossad" and is in fact Homeless and Jobless and Broke in the USA. He lives in his truck and runs his Woodwork 'business' from his Truck (see below picture of him 'working' in a Hotel parking lot in Tennessee!!!). I wonder if the IRS know he is in fact 'working' from this location?????
My friend from FB was in danger as this man apparently has a propensity toward violent behaviour and the police had to be called to remove her from a dangerous situation. Please take this seriously people. He is right now, as we speak trawling for new victims .... who may not necessarily be female. Jewish Men active in their communites can be called on to establish his cause and allow him to take further advantage in Eretz Yisroel itself, which is his avowed goal.

DeleteIt is difficult to believe that Predators exist. Then you meet one. All Women need to be protected by sharing such information.
Please Be Aware that it is not just one woman that has been conned here ... but a list of at least 5 others. And more may come forward!!!!

ReplyDeleteIn any case, my advise as a man to any woman anywhere at any time is to be always ON GUARD. This is what I tell my wife, my mother, and all my female friends & relatives. Take no chances. Ever.
And I assume that folks are getting together and contacting the authorities- right? Do it NOW. His behavior may degenerate further and he may become dangerous. Money can be replaced. Precious human life cannot.

And many stories spread incredibly quickly (they don't call it "viral" technology for nothing). So it's important to understand when gossip and rants can cross the legal line and become "defamation", the legal word for a statement that causes damage to someone's reputation.
Defamation comes in two forms: libel (written) and slander (verbal). In this age of the handheld everything, "written" isn't limited to paper and pen, but can refer to an email, text message, blog post, and even a Tweet (as Courtney Love learned recently).
Whether it's written or verbal, a lawsuit for defamation usually requires the plaintiff -- the subject of a statement -- to show that something spoken or written was also published (heard or read by a third party), false (i.e. not an opinion), and somehow injurious to the plaintiff's reputation.

A friend of mine in Nasheville contacted the Rabbi that Mike claims is the Rabbi that is converting him to Judaism. According to this friend, that Rabbi "vaguely" remembers Mike's name. How unfortunate that Mike has used that Rabbi as a reference to his conversion and that Rabbi does NOT really know who he is helping convert to Judaism,. don't you all agree?

My friend in Nashville, who has witnessed Mike's bad temper which concerned him greatly, also shared with me that he warned the Rabbi (who "vaguely" remembers Mike's name) about Mike and his history which based on police reports, testimonies of witnesses is TRUE! Please do not let Mike fool you! Women beware of him and his antics. Please do not be fooled! He needs help!
ReplyDeleteEvita AKA Eva Marie, I used to support Mike despite all the warnings I got from other ladies on FB and from his family and friends. Trust me, by supporting him you are not doing him any favours. He needs help. He needs medication. Please take my word on it. Mike will tell you that I know. Hopefully, he will tell you also how I know. We need to join hands and help him. If you care about him, you will push him to go seek help!

ReplyDeleteI am a rabbi who Mike knows through FB, and I have always responded to his questions with compassion.
ReplyDeleteBased on my meeting with one of the women involved and hearing her describe her experiences with him, I have encouraged and urged Mike in the strongest possible way to seek treatment, and he assured me that he will do so.
I hope and pray that he will get the help that he needs.
It behooves each of us to exercise caution in FB relationships, to separate fantasy from reality.
Ok, I guess it is time for me to reveal some facts in order to set the record straight. I am ONE of the women that Mike befriended on FB. I am one of the women who met him and spent time with him. I was in Mike's company for ONE week. People tried to warn me against him, as he is well aware, warnings I ignored.
ReplyDeleteEven when his family shared with me their concerns about his mental state, I fought them and sided with him.
When I first saw his outburst at the General Warren Inne, I was scared, so so scared. It happened after Mike's credit card was declined (naturally as he is penniless and was also homeless when I met him). I offered mine and Mike raised a big stink about them wanting to charge me. I could hear his voice and shouts all over the place threatening the manager that he would regret it. The manager came and spoke to me.He was concerned. I was ready to turn around and go back to Israel. I was scared to death of Mike's temper, SCARED to death. When he promised me to take me to the airport and only after I got into the car, and after he put the suitcase on one side of me and he settled himself on the other side so that I could not move much, Mike told me that we are heading to Nashville, I prayed to Hashem and I begged him NOT to kill me for this is what I was afraid will happen to me.
There is more a lot more. I could tell you how the police got involved, why we were evicted out of another hotel as the police and others considered him dangerous and how I was snuck out of it into another hotel where I had to hide for two days for fear of Mike. I could tell you more about his lies deception and more, a lot more.... It is all on record....
And the man needs to stop making a circus of himself all over Face Book! he is NOT helping himself!
